OFFICIAL RULES:
There is no cost to enter the Sharonview Kick-Off Kid drawing. Children must be
between the ages of 5 and 12 to qualify. The child’s parent or guardian must be 18
years old to register their child in the drawing. By registering, you certify that you are the
parent or legal guardian of the child registered, and that you have the right to make
decisions for their child that affect their well-being. You must present a valid I.D. upon
arrival at the game for which your child is selected to be the Sharonview Kick-Off Kid.
Registration information will be shared only among Sharonview Federal Credit Union,
Charlotte 49ers Ventures, LLC, and the Charlotte 49ers Athletic Department.
Consent
By registering, you understand that you are providing your and your child’s registration
information to Sharonview Federal Credit Union, Charlotte 49ers Ventures, LLC, and
Charlotte Athletics, and the information you provide will be used by Charlotte 49ers
Ventures, LLC and Charlotte Athletics only for the purpose of administering and
promoting the Kick-Off Kid program and by Sharonview Federal Credit Union for
promotion and marketing purposes.
You further represent and warrant that your child is in good physical condition and has
no physical, health related or other issues that would preclude or restrict their
participation in the Sharonview Kick-Off Kid program or related activities or that would
otherwise render their participation dangerous or harmful to themselves or others, and
that you are allowing them to participate in physical activity.
YOU FURTHER UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT IF YOUR CHILD IS SELECTED
AS THE SHARONVIEW KICK-OFF KID, YOU GRANT PERMISSION TO THE
UNIVERSITY, CHARLOTTE ATHLETICS, CHARLOTTE 49ers VENTURES, LLC, OR
THEIR DESIGNEE, AS WELL AS SHARONVIEW FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, TO
UTILIZE YOUR CHILD’S IMAGE, LIKENESS, ACTIONS, AND STATEMENTS IN ANY
LIVE OR RECORDED AUDIO, VIDEO, OR PHOTOGRAPHIC DISPLAY OR OTHER
TRANSMISSION, EXHIBITION, PUBLICATION, OR REPRODUCTION MADE OF, OR
AT, THE GAME OR EVENT, INCLUDING SOCIAL MEDIA AND OTHER
PROMOTIONAL MEANS, WITHOUT FURTHER AUTHORIZATION OR
COMPENSATION.
Waiver
By registering, you recognize and acknowledge that physical injury, accident, illness, death, loss of personal property, or other contingencies may befall your child as a Sharonview Kick-Off Kid. You understand that your child is not in any way required to participate in the Sharonview Kick-Off Kid program and related activities, and despite these risks, you are voluntarily agreeing to allow them to participate. In light of the preceding and with sufficient knowledge of your child's physical and other conditions and limitations, if any, you voluntarily assume all responsibility and risk of loss, damage, illness and/or injury to person or property which your child may, in any way, sustain in connection with their participation in the Sharonview Kick-Off Kid program and related activities. In consideration of your child's participation in Sharonview Kick-Off Kid the program and related activities, you agree to release University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Charlotte Athletics, Charlotte 49ers Ventures, LLC, and their trustees, officers, employees, agents and volunteers from any and all liabilities, damages, losses and/or causes of action (collectively, "Claims") that you or your child may suffer or have, including without limitation, to your persons or property or both, which arise out of, are related to or in connection with, or occur during, your child's participation in or attendance at the Sharonview Kick-Off Kid program and related activities, except to the extent any such Claims are caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the employees of University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Charlotte Athletics, or Charlotte 49ers Ventures, LLC. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the University of North Carolina, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Charlotte Athletics, Charlotte 49ers Ventures, LLC, and their board members, trustees, officers, employees, and volunteers from any and all Claims arising out of, related to, or in connection with the Sharonview Kick-Off Kid program or related activities that are caused by your or your child's negligent or intentional acts and/or omissions.
